Proposal

​

In this course we will address the audio chain and its components, understanding how they interact in physical spaces; which will allow you to level your knowledge  audio to make the right decisions when choosing and manipulating your work tools.

At the end of the course you will have the ability to make miking decisions for your recordings, based on the sound source and acoustics. You will understand the signal flow and its connections in stages.

  • Class 1:  THE SOUND AND ITS CHARACTERISTICS

Prior to each class, a note will be delivered with bibliographic support on the subject, and they will also be accompanied by some audiovisual materials.

Corcha Gómez is a recording and post-production technician, graduated from the School of Sound and Production, Tecson. She develops in the area of live sound, mixing and mastering and in the delivery of workshops and specialization courses.

His most outstanding works intertwine sectors of culture and social movements such as the coordination and technical operation of sound in the emblematic Argentine Theater of the city of La Plata, in the Argentine Theater Center for Experimentation and Creation (TACEC), and in one of the most important social events in Argentina such as the Plurinational Encounter of Women and Dissidents.

At present he continues his higher studies at the National University of Quilmes within the Bachelor of Music and Technology.  He works as sound technical staff at the UNLP Arts Center. She is also a sound engineer for different musical projects and works as a Mastering Engineer independently in her studio.
