He was born in 1990 in Buenos Aires, Argentina into a family of artists (his grandparents Ana María Campoy and Pepe Cibrián) that greatly influenced and stimulated his artistic and multifaceted orientation. From the age of 10 he studied singing, guitar and flute, forming part of the orchestras and school choirs.
He studied the technique of "Musical Production oriented to Audiovisual Media" at the UCA and received it in 2011. That same year he made his debut in "Drácula, el musical" (Astral Theater) in the role of Mina Murray, directed by his uncle Pepito. The season was on the bill and went on a national tour until 2012.
He studied popular music at EMC and theater at "El Brio Teatro" with Claudio Quinteros and Nayla Pose.
At the age of 23, she began working as a vocal coach and recording technique in studios and audiovisual production companies until she became independent as a freelance sessionist singer and songwriter from her home studio for the whole world through SoundBetter. He released his debut single "Faint", a song he co-wrote with DJs Way, signed by Pirca Records (2015).
In 2016 he began to develop his first solo project Fenna Frei and studied sound synthesis with Ernesto Romeo. The first single released was "Negra Flor" co-produced by the electronic music band Klauss. In October 2017 she released her first album "Fuente Nocturna" produced between her and Santiago Iezzi. His first official presentation was at the Young Art Biennial Festival, where his project was selected as a finalist. In July 2018 he started his first tour of Europe, appearing in the underground scene of London and Berlin (Fiddler's Elbow, Madame Claude, Sofar Sounds London, Greenhouse Berlin). On his return from the tour, he started his own production company with his partner Santiago Iezzi at Estudio Panacea, composing, recording and producing women to this day. In February 2019 he released his video clip “Frío”, the first broadcast cut of the next album, filmed in the province of Catamarca and co-produced by the Catamarca Department of Tourism.
Candela is part of the United Music Collective in CABA and of RMS (Network of Women in Sound) where she fights for equality and visibility of women in both areas.
